Review of the beautiful Moody Blue Glass Dildo from A Touch Of Glass

A Touch of Glass was set up by Carol Prendal who called upon over 20 years of experience as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in the subject area of Sexuality to find a premium quality product that would be an effective aid to orgasm.

A Touch of Glass promise to deliver the highest quality glass products that the market can offer and refuse to bow to industry pressure to cut prices and potentially affect the quality of the items that they stock and indeed they are beautiful products!

Because of my lack of experience with Glass products I took to the website to find out as much information as I could gather about the Touch of Glass product range particularly before I allowed them near any ‘delicate areas’.

Despite having a different domain name to the name of the Company which is a little confusing. I found that the website itself was very easy to navigate and provided a wealth of information about Borosilicate glass. This is the material that they use for their products which are all hand crafted. It is a significantly tougher form of glass than that used in the ordinary day to day glass products that we might use and is designed to withstand tremendous amounts of shock and extreme temperatures without cracking, breaking or shattering. Phew!

A Touch of Glass also offer a lifetime warranty which is illustrative of the confidence that they have in their products and donate a percentage of their profits to a Breast Cancer Charity which is amazing.

The website also has an informative ‘How To’ section which advises shoppers on the differing type of products which may suit their needs and handy tips for using their product once it arrives. I particularly enjoyed the ‘How to find the G Spot’ section and liked the exercises that were provided for assistance.

However, there were certain parts of the site where I found the air of superiority a little insulting and occasionally dismissive of customers who aren’t of a certain class. If I was shopping the site as a consumer I would find it off putting as I do tend to take things too personally (as my husband likes to remind me!)

Anyway, moving on! It was a pleasure to chat to Jenny Dillar who is the Commercial Manager of a Touch Of Glass and she was kind enough to send me the Moody Blue Glass Dildo which retails at £36.99 from the Touch of Glass website in exchange for an honest review.
The Moody Blue arrived very discreetly packaged and once opened was also shrink wrapped in clear plastic for extra reassurance that all products are brand new and unused. I also received a lovely glass keyring which I was pleased with!

The Moody Blue is quite weighty to hold and a very sturdy product. The design and proportions of this product is absolutely flawless and there is no doubt that every care has been taken to ensure that this product is immaculate.

The proportions of the products are as follows –

Overall Length – 7.5 Inches
Shaft Circumference – 3.5 Inches
Tip Circumference – 4.5 Inches (thickest part of the Moody Blue)

The instructions that arrived with the Moody Blue recommend placing the product in bowls of cold or hot water to add different sensations to your experience with the product. I prefer to use warm water as anything cold is too shocking for me.

Upon usage, my favourite part of the Moody Blue is the bulbous tip as this was the part of the product that I worked the hardest.  I admit that I was a little concerned about the lack of clitoral stimulation and whether I would find myself abandoning the Moody Blue mid-way through to hunt down a trusty vibrator but I must say that I was pleasantly wrong!

The tip is the thickest part of the Moody Blue and is designed to stimulate the G Spot, if you don’t know how to find your G Spot refer to the easy to follow tips on the website. Because of the slight curve in the shaft, the Moody Blue hits the G Spot perfectly and was easy to navigate into the perfect position. When I felt that I needed something a little stronger I mixed things up a little bit and alternated between using the tip for G-spot and for clitoral stimulation too. The result was a powerful orgasm that didn’t require the use of a vibrator!

Also, because it doesn’t vibrate there are no concerns about noise and it’s clearly waterproof too which another great product feature.

Overall, a great product which is beautiful to look at and great fun to use. Look at the website for ways in which you can make the most out of Glass Toys and if you post a review of your purchase on the website your next product is half price!

I have my eye on a Passion Queen for next Pay Day
