Review of the of the Fun Factory G4 Big Boss Vibrator From Strawberry Blushes

When the lovely people at Strawberry Blushes contacted me and asked me to review the Fun Factory G4 I was really pleased! It’s always nice to interact with another company and have the chance to work together on a product review.

The Fun Factory G4 Big Boss Vibrator arrived very discreetly packaged through Royal Mail and contained a very nice hand written compliments slip from the company which was a nice touch! I opened the packaging and was dumbstruck at the sheer size of the product. It is NOT a vibrator for the faint hearted as it is a very  large Vibrator!

The Boss retails at £54.99 which may seem expensive but it is a rechargeable vibrator and the quality of the product is excellent. It’s definitely built to last! Also, please note that Fun Factory products must be purchased with a Charging Unit but this is also on sale at £8.99 from Strawberry Blushes and the delivery is free.

At 9 inches in length (insertable length of 6.5 inches) and a girth boasting a healthy 5.5 inches it’s easily the largest vibrator that I have tried out. However, as you now know, I am always open to new territory and therefore quite excited to see how it goes.

Looking at the Big Boss I was pleased to see that it was a lovely neon Orange colour and very pretty to look at. It has a slight curve and raised bumps for extra sensations which I liked. The Boss is made from 100% grade silicone so is completely body safe to use. The material is very firm to grip but also very flexible so it’s easy to manoeuvre into a position that suits. It is 100% waterproof and submersible so it can be used in both the Bath and Shower.

 

As the Big Boss is rechargeable it also arrived with a charging unit which as discussed,  is normally bought separately (thanks guys!) To begin using the Vibrator it must be charged for approximately 6 hours prior to usage. The charging unit is a little tricky to figure out at first because it will only charge properly if the word ‘Fun’ on the Charger is placed directly above the word ‘Fun’ on the Big Boss. Once it has been placed correctly and is charging the light on the charger will glow a red colour. It is meant to stick magnetically but this can slip slightly if you aren’t careful with the way you lay down the Vibrator.  I charged it overnight initially only to find that it had slipped off during the night and therefore hadn’t charged.

 

Much wiser the second time round I recharged the Boss and was very pleased to see that it after pressing the Star button for a couple of seconds the Boss immediately roared into life! It is a hugely powerful vibrator, even on the lowest setting and the strength of the vibration increases with every press of the Plus Button.

Despite the sheer power of the Boss, it remains audibly discreet and I didn’t find it to be particularly loud when I was using it even on the highest setting.  When held under the duvet I was pleased to discover that there is very little sound, particularly as I have some very nosy children in my house at the moment!

The Boss also arrived with a small sachet of water based, condom safe lubricant which I also thought was a nice touch as a good lubricant is a MUST for this product.

After using lashings of lubricant I managed to insert the Boss with relative ease - albeit very slowly to start off with!

The substantial girth gave a delicious feeling of ‘fullness’ that hit every lump and bump and created some fantastic sensations. On the lowest setting, I found that the power was still incredibly strong and powerful. The curve of the vibrator is perfect for G spot stimulation and when the power is increased I found that I achieved orgasm very quickly. The highest setting provides an incredibly powerful vibration but not the awful ‘shuddering’ that you can sometimes get from a cheaper alternative.

This Vibrator has 4 settings altogether, the setting is changed by pressing the Star button on the white unit. The settings include –

1.       Constant Vibration

2.       Pulsing

3.       Low to High Pulsation (Fast and rhythmic)

4.       Tease Setting – (OMG!!!)

Each setting has its own virtues and all are pretty amazing to be honest but for me the most enjoyable by far was the toe curling Tease setting.

The Tease starts off slowly but powerfully, lulling you into a false sense of security... all of a sudden you notice that the power is slowly increasing, the vibration is becoming faster... and faster... and faster.

It takes you directly to the precipice of a highly intense orgasm until it suddenly stops... and then starts again from the lowest setting and starts the whole delightful experience all over again! So far I haven’t lasted two rounds of the tease setting and I think it’s brilliant.

The Boss works great in both the bath and shower and I have used it whilst it was fully submerged in water, it works perfectly fine afterwards too.

Overall, this is a really good vibrator. I love the slightly curved design and bright colour and although I was slightly concerned about the size of the Boss it wasn’t much of a problem after all, in fact I liked the Big Boss better because of its size. The vibration is powerful but discreet; the settings are creative and resulted in some very strong orgasms.

The Boss is a vibrator that you do pay more for initially as it retails at £54.99 from Strawberry Blushes, the fact that it is rechargeable means that there is no battery requirement and I believe that this is a cost effective option in the long run.

Review Idol Development...

Review of Killing Daniel By Sarah Dobbs

Killing Daniel is the debut novel by the lovely Sarah Dobbs and is available from Amazon for just £4.99. The book is a haunting tale of two old school friends Fleur and Chinatsu, who despite being at opposite sides of the world find their lives entwined in ways that even they never imagined possible. Both women have found themselves suffering at the hands of a violent partner and both women find the courage to break free. However, this isn’t without heartache.

The story dances between Salford and Japan and follows the desperate journey of the two women as they try to make sense of the difficulties that life has bestowed upon them. It is an articulate and well written book with an intriguing plot that leaves the reader thirsty for more. It’s a book that I struggled to put down. Both women often reminisce fondly of their old school friend but will they ever meet again?

The plot is easy to follow despite the fact it that tells two stories at the same time. The female characters are likeable it’s easy to empathise with the battles that they are facing. I found it to be a very dark tale and it isn’t a book that you take to the beach for an easy read. It’s a story that you think about for a long time afterwards.

Overall, a fantastic debut novel from Sarah Dobbs and I am looking forward to the next book already!

Review of The Siren by Tiffany Reisz (The Original Sinners Series)

If you are looking for a 'Fifty Shades' love story than this ISN'T the book for you, If you want a nice easy read that you don’t need to think about afterwards, this DEFINITLEY isn't the book for you.

If you want a book that is dark, gripping and downright kinky then it’s time to pick up The Siren!

 
After hearing ripples about the Original Sinners Series by Tiffany Reisz, I decided that it was time to invest in The Siren. However, I was pleased to see that this book retailed for just 20 pence on Amazon Kindle so it was an absolute bargain!

 

After being bitterly disappointed with the quality of books that I have recently read I was pleasantly surprised to find myself gripped by the adventures of the incorrigible Nora Sutherland and her following of delicious male admirers, each one more than worthy of the role of the male lead part in this saucy but intelligently written tale.

 

The story follows Nora, a popular writer of erotica in her quest to be taken seriously and gain credibility in the written field. She is writing the story of a lifetime in the hope of securing a lucrative contract with a renowned publisher. Given the task of reining in The Siren is Zachary, a hard hitting Editor and a vey handsome man who takes himself far too seriously. He is nursing a deep heartbreak after recently splitting with the love of his life, Grace but is dangerously drawn to the charismatic Nora Sutherland. Will she help him heal his broken heart and will he ever be able accept Nora for who she is?

There is a delicious game of cat and mouse afoot but will Zachary turn his back on Grace?

 

A central character to the story is the delightfully innocent young intern Wesley. He regularly spurns the advances of Nora but makes it his duty to protect her at all times. The book covers an innocent and tender blossoming of love between the couple but can Nora turn her back on the BDSM lifestyle that has been entwined into her soul? Will she finally embark upon an innocent and vanilla relationship or will the past continue sabotage Nora’s future?

 

One of the most interesting characters is the dark and dangerous Soren, the handsome half Danish Dominant who is burned into the soul of Nora and the absolute love of her life. He is the first relationship that Nora had and she continues to be drawn to this dangerous, intoxicating man. The intensity of the feelings that the couple have for each other is the backbone of the story and her paralysing infatuation of him leaves you guessing what the future may hold for someone who struggles to move forward because of the crippling heartbreak that she suffers.

 

In addition to the teasing, tantilisng story of lust and forbidden love, Nora has a shameful secret, one that could ruin her life and her career. She is the most highly paid female Dominant in the whole of New York.

 

I don’t want to tell you too much of the story life but I really did enjoy this book. The female character is a strong dominant female which is a huge change from the recent books that have been hitting the shelves about BDSM. Although she submits to Soren when requested, she always maintains an inner strength and tenacity that endears her to the reader. I enjoyed the naughty side of her character and could relate to her as a female. She is complex but lovable!

Overall, this book is geat. There are some twists on the story that actually made me gasp out loud! (on the bus, too) and the fact that it was 20p made it even better. It has a great storyline and I was hooked from the beginning.

The book isn’t too raunchy but does have some naughty it isnt trashy. The author Tiffany Reisz  is a lovely woman too. She always takes the time to talk to her fans on Twitter and it’s nice that she takes an interest in her readers and values their opinion. Its refreshing that she takes the time to do this and also offered to answer any questions that I had about the book.

Review Of The Loving Joy Sparkle Sex Toy Cleaner

After speaking to some ladies at a recent Voluptasse party I was really shocked at how little the ladies know about the importance of cleaning their Sex Toys after use.

It is vitally important to clean your sex toys after every single usage. Bacteria on sex toys can lead to a number of nasty infections (including the re-infection of Chlamydia) and a decent anti bacterial sex toy cleaner can prevent this.

I decided to post a review of the very affordable and effective Loving JoySparkle Sex Toy Cleaner to illustrate how easy it is to keep your toys clean and safe to use without a hefty price tag.

The Cleaner comes in a very handy spray bottle and is made up of a clear liquid containing Water, Alcohol, Sodium, Laureth Sulfate and Trisclosan. To use the cleaner you simply spray it onto your toy, leave for 2 minutes and rinse off with warm water. The instructions are clearly stated on the label at the front of the bottle.

Because I hold a lot of Home Parties I decided to try this cleaner on some items from my party kit. Its is handled quite a lot and can become quite grubby. I normally use soap and water to wash the toys but wanted to try an anti-bacterial product just to make sure that they were 100% clean and germ free.

 

One of the items I tried the cleaner on was a Jessica Rabbit Ultimate XXTRAG which is a Jelly product and another toy I used was an Odeco Nambi 7 SpeedG  Rabbit which is Silicone product as I wanted to see how well it worked on the differing materials.

The Jelly Toy cleaned up easily enough. There was no unpleasant smell with the product, in fact no smell at all and the toy was rinsed off with warm water after the instructed two minutes. This product dries best naturally so I left it to dry and was suitably impressed. The cleaner does what it says on the tin, everything is nice, clean and germ free. With toys that dry better naturally, remember not to put them away wet as this could cause germs to breed and mildew to grow.

The silicone toy that I used was the lovely and colourful Odeco Nambi 7 Speed Rabbit. I followed the instructions as per the Jelly Toys and the cleaner was also fine with this product, I dried the 7 Speed Rabbit with a lint free towel and it looked as good as new.

Overall, I like the Loving Joy Sparkle Cleaner, My toys were cleaned with the minimum of fuss, there has been no nasty side effects from using the cleaner and there are no nasty chemical smells. It has a very fine spray so you don't use a lot of the product and therefore it will last quite a long time - depending on usage obviously!

Because it's only £5.49 it's affordable to buy and the germ killing properties in the spray reassure me my toys are properly clean and safe to use.
